The Folks

Why it’s on the route

The Folks is a one-person café and roastery on a lane off Siwei Road in Da'an, run by the same owner for more than a decade. Beans, often Guatemalan, are roasted on site and pulled on a Kees van der Westen Slim Jim; the signature con panna adds honey, a dash of milk, cream and cacao to a single shot. There are six counter seats plus benches outside.
