Why it’s on the route

Amberson is a small café and grocer in Fletcher Place founded by Hugo Cano, winner of the 2026 US Coffee in Good Spirits Championship, who signed the lease in February 2020 and reshaped the concept through the pandemic. It does not roast, instead rotating roasters from across the US and abroad and pouring competition-level microlots at a pour-over bar. Baristas lead recommendations, and breakfast sandwiches and a reusable jar program round it out.
