Illumine was started in 2020 by Kent and Anna Phillips after more than a decade of roasting their own coffee at home. The Nora café on Westfield Boulevard doubles as the company's roastery, with natural-process single origins from Costa Rica, Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda alongside house blends called The Light and The Darkness.
