Why it’s on the route

Blue Mind is a family roastery run by Andy and Sarah Hassler, who started roasting on a Hottop in their garage; Andy is head roaster and their adult children help run the business. They now roast on a Loring S15 at their café in the Rose Building in Meridian-Kessler, with lighter roasts and a strong emphasis on single-origin filter coffee. The ube latte is a local favourite, with pastries from Leviathan Bakehouse.
