Why it’s on the route
James Coffee Co. is a family business run by brothers David and Jacob Kennedy and named after their father; David, also a guitarist with Angels & Airwaves, started roasting as a side project around 2014. The Little Italy original shares a building with a boutique, barbershop and design studios, and has an industrial look with high ceilings, steel tables and neon. Single origins and blends are roasted in small batches, poured as filter, batch brew and espresso.
