Why it’s on the route
Komakase is a reservation-based coffee omakase co-founded by Kieran Eng, launched in July 2024 as a pop-up inside Paper Son's café in SoMa. Up to six guests sit through a multi-course tasting of pour-overs, espresso and coffee cocktails, each introduced in detail and paired with small snacks; a 'roaster spotlight' option concentrates on pour-overs of beans sourced from around the world.
