Why it’s on the route

Prequel is a small, colourful café on Chicago Avenue in West Town, set in the former Atomix space with a bright colour-block, pop-art look. It pours Four Letter Word coffee alongside rotating guest roasters, as espresso from a Synesso, pour-over and batch brew. Pastries such as spiced banana bread and lemon loaf are made in-house; seating is limited.
