Tandem was opened in 2012 by Will and Kathleen Pratt after years working in coffee in Boston, San Francisco and New York, and roasts rotating single origins and seasonal blends at its Anderson Street café-roastery in East Bayside. This Congress Street shop, a converted gas station opened in 2014, pairs that coffee with baking led by Briana Holt.
