Why it’s on the route

XLIII is the Ho Chi Minh City café of 43 Factory Coffee Roaster, which roasts in Da Nang on a Giesen and specializes in very light roasts of coffees scoring 85+ points. The Pasteur Street shop, opened in 2022, publishes price breakdowns down to the farmer payment and hands out tags with origin, roast and extraction data. Coffee comes as shot, filter on Kinto brewers, or with milk from a La Marzocco Leva, in a black-and-white space with a ground-floor terrarium.
