Why it’s on the route
Seeds opened in West Homewood in 2013, founded by five partners including brothers Jeff and Brett Huey; Brett started roasting at home in a popcorn popper a year earlier. The founders travelled to Indonesia, Guatemala and India to build direct relationships with farmers, and coffee at the bar is hand-poured to order. The shop also doubles as a small music venue.
