Sump Coffee (ONEC1TY)

Why it’s on the route

This is the Nashville outpost of Sump Coffee, the acclaimed St. Louis roaster, opened in 2017 as one of the first tenants of the OneC1ty development west of downtown. All beans are roasted on a Diedrich at the St. Louis shop, and the bar offers six or seven single origins as V60 pour-overs on a Poursteady, plus single-origin espresso on a Kees van der Westen Spirit. The high-ceilinged room, tucked between buildings, has bright red chairs and a retail wall of beans and gear.
